38 Weeks

I had my 38 week appointment today and everything went great. My doctor is on vacation this week so I saw a different doctor in the practice who I also really like. She said I am dilated to a big 3, my cervix is thin, and Corbin is nice and low. She said I am a great candidate for induction because of all my progress. I asked her what she thought Corbin would weigh and her guess is around 8 1/2 pounds. I have one last appointment with my doctor next Thursday before I get induced on Friday. Only 8 more days!!!

That means we have 8 days to finish up everything we need to before Corbin arrives. I STILL need to start packing my bag (Scott says this should be my first priority this weekend--ha!). We need to hang Corbin's curtains and some other things on his walls. I would like to do one last deep cleaning on the house before next Friday and I'm definitely dreading this! Grocery shopping, laundry, pedicure, and more! I also need to make Cason and Corbin's big brother/little brother shirts. I was almost finished with Cason's last night when my sewing machine went crazy and ate the shirt! We took it today for repairs and thank goodness they were able to fix it----YEA! I know there is lots more I need to do but I just can't remember it all right now. Most importantly, we plan to enjoy our last few days together as a family of three.

I have lots of random pictures to add :)

Here are some of our visit to Cabelas this weekend. Cason got a new hat and a new alligator. It was the first day it had rained since I don't know when, so when Cason wanted to wear his rain boots, we were just fine with it.

Here are a couple of Cason wearing Scott's sunglasses and hat. He enjoyed admiring himself in the mirror and dancing around.

Cason sure is a cutie but the past couple of days have been a struggle. He has been throwing nonstop tantrums and has been very fussy. He is cutting two molars right now but I just don't remember him being this fussy before while cutting teeth. I hope this passes quickly so we can enjoy the next few days together.

Here are some things I have made for sweet little Corbin. I am new at this and still learning so they definitely didn't all turn out like I had envisioned but that's okay :)

Here is a shirt I made for Cason to wear to his first day of school on Tuesday. I also figured out how to sew his lovie back together--FINALLY (it was falling to pieces) and then I added his name :)
