June Catch Up Post

Sweet girl...

Shopping at our favorite store---Target. The boys love getting an ICEE. I LOVE that they have carts that fit all three of the kiddos while we shop. And I would like to make one small announcement to all Target shoppers---if you are at Target with only ONE child---PLEASE DO NOT take the cart that is made for people shopping with multiple kids. There are only a few of these carts available and they make it so much easier for people that are at Target with 2 or more children. So please, don't use these carts if you only have one child with you because then the next person that comes in with multiple kiddos might have to shop with the small cart.

On a froyo date with my two boys...

My little kitchen helpers love tasting the batter...

I took the boys to CooCoos for the first time in a long time a few days ago. They had a great time playing and jumping and running around.

Slow motion slide ride...

And then on the way home, it all started going downhill. Right before we got home, Corbin started throwing up over and over and over. We got home and cleaned up and both boys ended up having a fever. It's just so crazy that they were feeling great a couple of hours earlier. I ran them up to the doctor to have them strep tested since we have strep ALL the time and it has started with vomiting before. Thank goodness, they did not have strep---just a virus. There was more throwing up from both boys and very high fevers. They didn't have the stomach virus---the pediatrician said they were vomiting from their high fevers. Both kiddos had fevers that got up to 104.  I'm so sorry to all the people at CooCoos who we spread our germs to----I promise I had no clue they were sick :(

Sick snuggles...

Chloe and I went to pick up the Vacation Bible School shirts for the boys on Saturday. I saw this cute sign and thought I would try to get a picture of her but apparently she is NOT a fan of grass...

First Day of Vacation Bible School (Corbin did not want to take any pictures)...

They got to pet a wallaby and Cason's teacher from last year sent me this picture...

The sun was really bright in their eyes...

8 Months Old

Chloe, you are 8 months old! What have you been up to this month?

*You are still wearing 3-6 month clothes but you have finally started wearing some 6-9 months clothes as well.
*You are wearing size 3 diapers.
*Your eyes are still a mystery. Right now they look hazel--we can't decide if they will stay hazel or change to brown.
*You have 0 teeth. You put everything you can get your hands on in your mouth and you are drooling so maybe the first tooth is coming soon.
*You are rolling everywhere and you like to get up on your hands and knees and rock---no crawling or scooting just yet.
*You like practicing with your sippy cup but you mostly just chew on it right now.
*You nurse 5 times a day, take 2 good naps, and sleep 7:30-7:30 each night (with one feeding around 5:30 AM)
*You CAN sit for really long periods of time. You just DON'T always do it. If you get distracted you will just fall back with no concern for your poor little head.
*You eat solids two times a day and you will eat pretty much anything. You actually really like your vegetables. We've started giving you Puffs and you like them but you have a hard time picking them up and getting them in your mouth all by yourself. You hold them tight in your fist and then you can't figure out how to get them in your mouth.
*You started babbling a lot this month. You can make the b sound, the d sound, and the m sound.
*You LOVE bath time and jumping!
*Your brothers make you laugh all the time. You love when they play with you.
*You are such a sweet and happy little girl!
