Disneyland 2015

We just got back from a magical trip to Disneyland! Our friend from high school, Kelli, is a Disney travel planner and she planned an amazing trip for us!

We waited until Chloe was one and I was finished nursing before we went so that we could leave Chloe with my mom. It was my first time to leave her for more than a couple of hours---so I was very nervous---but she and my mom had a great time and she was just fine without me. It was nice to have special time with just Corbin and Cason. They were able to get one on one time with each of us and we could stay out all day riding rides---they had a blast.

We loved that they had all their Christmas decorations out by the time we got there! Some of our favorite things were the Fantastic show, the Christmas parade, and Goofy's Kitchen. The kids favorite rides were: Radiator Springs Racers, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Grizzly River Run, and the Matterhorn Bobsleds.  Cason loved the California Screamin' roller coaster. Corbin was tall enough to ride just about everything. He couldn't ride the roller coaster or the Indiana Jones ride. Scott took Cason on the Indiana Jones Adventure ride and I think it was a little too scary because he didn't want to go back.

Disneyland was the perfect size for the kiddos---not too big at all. We could walk everywhere and we were able to see everything and ride their favorite things more than once. We were SO thankful that we rented a double stroller from City Stroller Rentals. Even though Cason is 6, he still got tired. It's hard for kids to walk/stand for 12-14 hours a day.

We had the local grocery store deliver food to us the day we arrived and it worked out perfect. They delivered all our fruit, pantry items, and drinks right to the bell desk.

We had 2 character meals and the kids really LOVED this (especially Cason). We had breakfast at the Storytellers Cafe one morning and we ate lunch at Goofy's Kitchen on our last day (both were buffet-style).  I ordered them autograph books before we left and Cason was really into getting autographs with the characters and meeting them. Goofy's Kitchen had more popular characters than the Storytellers Cafe did but they made up for it with a really great breakfast :)

We met some fun characters roaming the park as well...

Mickey has his own house that you can go meet him at :)

Fun at the park...

I'll leave you with a little video of our trip...

Trophies and Friends

Corbin got his very first soccer trophy and he is SOOOOOO proud of it!

We met the Kempsons at Pinstack the other night and the kiddos had a ton of fun. Look at Cason and Madi climbing around above us---they are so brave :)

13 Months Old

This post is 10 days late but better late than never right???!!!

Chloe, you are 13 months old and this is what you have been up to this month...

*You can wear 6-9 month and 12 month clothing now
*You wear a size 2 in shoes (which is usually for 0-6 month olds but you have tiny feet)
*You wear a size 3 diaper
*You still only have 2 bottom teeth
*You have started taking a few steps here and there...

*You like to walk around with your walker and you are starting to love climbing
*You still aren't talking much but I know from experience with your two brothers that it will happen in its own time. You did start saying uh-oh and you love to make monkey sounds :)
*You started pointing---sometimes you use your finger, sometimes you use your whole hand but we get the point.
*You are officially weaned from nursing as of October 30th, and as always it makes your momma sad  that the nursing stage is over :(
*You like whole milk and water as long as it's in a straw cup.
*You are not a big eater. You like a few things but overall you eat much less than your two brothers did. Your favorites are blueberries, cereal bars, muffins, cheese, turkey, and peaches. Your very favorite thing that you must have at every meal is a pureed baby food pouch.
*You take two naps a day and sleep great at night.
*You love your paci
*You are a happy little girl most of the time but you are definitely not afraid to let us know when you are upset. You have officially started the screaming phase.

Corbin at 13 months---I just looked at his post and it is very similar to Chloe's!!!

Cason at 13 months
