16 Months

Corbin, you are 16 months old! What have you been up to this month?

*You are wearing mostly 18 month clothing--some of your 12 month clothing still works fine though.
*You wear a size 4 diaper and a size 5 shoe.
*You take 2 naps a day and sleep 7:00-7:00 or 7:30
*You are obsessed with your lovey and you CANNOT sleep without it. Every time you get your hands on it you put it up to your face and start sucking on your front two fingers---it's too cute!
*You are fast and into everything lately. You have even started to jog/run a little bit. You are a great climber!
*You still aren't much of a talker. You say mama, dada, an occasional bye-bye, and you just started saying no no. I have to tell you NO a million times a day so I'm not surprised that you've started saying it. You will try to make some animal noises---you are pretty good making the sounds of cows, dogs, and ducks :)
*You will use sign language for milk and sometimes more but that's about it.
*You know a few of your body parts: head, mouth, tongue, belly button, and ears.
*You LOVE to throw things. It is becoming quite the problem because you want to throw all your food on the floor, you throw toys at everyone (some of them are very heavy), and you like to throw things from the upstairs playroom to the downstairs living room---big NO NO.
*We think you might be a lefty. I think it's too soon to know for sure but that's what we are predicting.
*You love balls and all forms of transportation. You can entertain yourself with toys for quite a while :)
*You love to play outside with Cason and you are really starting to love to read books. You also love to open and shut doors and play chase.
*You have learned to use a high pitched scream anytime you want something or don't get your way.
*You give sweet hugs and kisses-----you give most of them to Cason because you love him so much, including an occasional bite to his arm.
*You've become quite mischievous over the past month---you are keeping us on our toes that's for sure.
*You are still such a happy camper and you bring so much joy to our lives!!!

Christmas 2012

We had such a great Christmas this year with our two little cuties. Santa got the boys lots of great presents here at our house on Christmas morning and then we spent the rest of Christmas having fun with our families. The boys got so many new presents from family and Santa that they have a hard time deciding on which one to play with.

It was so funny after Cason saw everything that Santa brought him, he said, "Santa got me everything I wanted"----I think it was just so cute, he was beyond elated with all his presents. When we asked him what Santa brought Corbin, he said, "Santa didn't bring any toys for Corbin because he is a baby". He tried to convince us that all the presents were his---LOL.

Cason was thrilled that we got to have a white Christmas----he and his cousins had a blast playing in the snow :)

Christmas Cuties

Here are some pics of my cuties from today. Cason and I decorated his gingerbread train today while Corbin was napping.  Corbin wasn't feeling good so we stayed in our pajamas most of the day.

Cason and Corbin's elf, Dash, sent them a video this morning!

Little Linus

It looks like I have my very own Linus (from Charlie Brown)

I need to buy some extras of this blanket because he has become VERY attached! It is so cute because the second he gets this blanket in his hands, his two fingers go directly into his mouth :)

Christmas Fun

Sweet brothers hanging out before going to visit Santa :)

Corbin LOVES to hug Cason

This is one of Cason's crafts he made at school---so precious!!!

Cason wants a bicycle, a T-Rex, and a train from Santa

Some of his latest crafts :)

Sweet boys dressed in matching Christmas pajamas to go look at Christmas lights. Corbin wanted to bring along his lovie and I think Cason's dinosaur slippers add a nice touch to the pjs---ha!

Cason is so proud of his salt dough ornaments. I told him we would hang a few on our tree and then give the rest to his grandparents and he told me no----that they did not need any of his ornaments. He said that they have their own ornaments on their own tree. So I then asked him what we could do if they really liked his ornaments and he said they could make some of their own. Sorry grandparents, I guess you won't be getting any ornaments unless you want to make them yourselves---LOL

He was so proud to hang them on the Christmas tree :)

Santa was a Success!

We took the boys to see Santa and it actually went very well. I though for sure---without a doubt that Corbin would be hysterical---but he actually did great. Corbin got all tense and stiff when I first put him on Santa's lap but then he was very interested in staring at Santa's face and beard and I definitely think it helped that Cason was with him and I was very close by. Cason LOVED Santa this year. He was very excited to see him and tell him what he wanted for Christmas. He's asking for a bicycle and a T-Rex. Santa thought that was an interesting combination. Cason is sporting his cheesy smile in the pic---I think it is hilarious---he started smiling like that around Halloween every time we take his picture---so cute--I just love it!
