We went to Madi's birthday party at Woga Saturday and we had such a great time!!! Cason had a blast playing and he loved all the cute girls (he and Corbin were the only boys).
Corbin has recently learned to wave and does it all the time. He stares at his hands and he just looks fascinated by them :)
Cason love singing this song----he knows a LOT of verses. Thankfully, he didn't sing about the dinosaur on the bus---because that one is loud :)

Crocs and Kitty
Here a few pictures of the boys---Corbin is wearing is first pair of Crocs :)
Autumn got her "Lion" hair cut again this weekend. I think it wouldn't look so bad if she wasn't SO skinny. Poor skinny kitty :) It sure will be nice to not have cat hair all over the house though :)

8 Months Old
Corbin, you are eight months old already! What have you been up to this month?
*You are wearing 3-6 month and 6-9 month clothing.
*You wear a size 3 diaper
*You are still a happy baby and you love to smile. It's hard to get you to laugh, but when you do it just melts our hearts.
*You have started to experience separation anxiety just a little bit. You will be playing fine and then when I walk out of your line of vision, the screaming starts. You don't do this all the time and I'm sure it is just a phase that will pass quickly (I hope).
*You are babbling but mostly just the "b" sound still. You throw a few "m" sounds in when you are really upset.
*You CAN sit unassisted but you DON'T always do it. You still fall over without catching yourself, so someone needs to be close by or the Boppy pillow needs to be behind you.
*You have been army crawling for a couple of weeks now. It may take you a while but you can get all the way across a room this way. Cason has had to be very careful with his toys lately. You also get up on all fours and rock so we think you may be crawling soon.
*You are still a tummy sleeper and you like to suck on your two first fingers while you are falling asleep.
*You nurse 5 times a day and you have 2 solid meals. You are taking your solids great now. We have also given you Puffs a few times and you have done great with them.
*You are working on using a sippy cup. You mostly like to chew on it for now.
*You take 2-3 naps a day and sleep 12 hours at night.
*We found out this month that you are allergic to Penicillin.
*You love to play with toys that light up and make sounds. Everything you touch goes directly into your mouth.
*You are such a SWEET little boy! You bring your mommy and daddy so much JOY!

Little Guy
I don't think I've posted about Corbin's weight on here yet. Corbin was born large and even at his 2 month check-up, he was in the 90% for weight. After his 2 month check-up, he really started having trouble with his reflux. He was refusing to eat and just screaming. We switched his reflux meds and it helped some but he still had lots of trouble eating. At his 4 month check-up he was in the 50-75% for weight. He had dropped some but was still doing okay. At his 6 month appointment he was in the 25-50% for weight. I was very concerned but the doctor said he thought everything was okay and that maybe he was just going to be small. He weighed 16 pounds, 9 ounces at is 6 month check-up. He got his rotavirus vaccine at his 6 month check-up (right after he had RSV) and that caused him to have a little stomach bug for about a week. A month later I was still concerned about his weight so I took him in for a weight check and he weighed 16 pounds, 5 ounces. He has lost weight over the course of that month instead of gained like he should. Now he did have RSV and a stomach bug but losing weight is never a good thing for a baby----plus I could tell he wasn't gaining like normal and getting bigger. He has been wearing 3-6 month clothes since he was 2 months old----he is now almost 8 months old.
The pediatrician sent us to a GI doctor. We went a week later and he was up to 16 pounds, 11 ounces. Since he was gaining, the GI doctor wasn't concerned and said to continue as normal and come back in 1 month for a re-check. He said that Corbin looked healthy and he also told us that maybe he was just going to be small. He did do bloodwork on Corbin which all came back normal (thank goodness). So we go back the first week in May to check his weight again and see how things are going. We're praying (and we would appreciate your prayers as well) that he has gained a good amount of weight and that there are no underlying problems causing his slow weight gain. I will keep you posted after we go to the doctor. I'm sure everything is fine but I just worry like any mom would.
Here are some pictures of my little guys I took this morning :)
