2.25 years old

Cason you are 2 1/4 years old! What have you been up to lately?

*You weigh 37 1/2 pounds (you have gained 3 pounds since your 2 year check-up!
*You are wearing size 2T and 3T clothing (depending on the brand)
*You moved up to a size 6 diaper.
*Your feet have been growing too. You now wear a size 8 1/2 wide shoe. I have been wanting to get you a pair of Sperry shoes for so long but they don't make wide width shoes until you wear at least a size 8. I was so excited to be able to finally get you a pair the other day now that your feet have grown so much. All of your shoes were getting way TOO small.

*You take one nap a day and sleep 11-12 hours at night.
*You are still a picky little eater but you do like a lot of healthy items and you obviously get plenty of food.
*You have had a language explosion over the past couple of months. You have started saying your full name and the names of just about everyone else. You will try to repeat almost anything we say so we have to be really careful what we say out loud. You're now saying sentences with 4-5 words. I am just amazed at how much you have started talking in the past couple of months.
*You are working on using pronouns. You get me and you very confused. When you want me to pick you up, you will say, "Mommy hold you"---meaning Mommy hold me. It is very cute. You are also starting to use My and I and you use those correctly a lot of the time.
*You can identify all 26 letters of the alphabet and tell me the sound they make. You are not even close to being able to sing your ABC's though. You get as far as D and then you stop---so cute!
*Sometimes you can count to ten correctly but most of the time you count to ten like this....1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10.
*You are very active and always on the go.
*You are currently obsessed with the movie Madagascar 2.
*You are VERY strong willed and you are not afraid to let me know when you are unhappy about something or when you want something. I know your strong willed nature will be a positive thing in the future but right now it can be very exhausting at times---ha!
*You are also very loving and kind. You love to give hugs and kisses and you are trying your best to become a good sharer.
*You are really into dancing right now and constantly want us to put music on.
*Coloring is not one of your favorite pastimes but you LOVE to play with stickers and Play-Doh.
*You are just the cutest, sweetest little boy I have every seen and I love you soooooo much!!!

Update: I just checked and you cut both your upper two year molars this week too!
