13 Year Anniversary

Scott and I celebrate 13 years since our very first date today. On our very first date (I was 16 years old) we went to Chili's and Santa Land (a Christmas light drive through park). 8 years later, Scott proposed in a limo while we were driving through Santa Land after we ate at Chili's of course (so sweet and perfect).

We were married on July 16, 2005 and welcomed our precious baby boy on May 11, 2009. I am married to my best friend, a wonderful husband, and the best dad in the world---I couldn't be more lucky! I can't wait to see what the next 13 years has in store for us! I love you Scott!

Who Knew?

Who knew making baby food could be so easy? I having been trying to make some of Cason's baby food the past couple of weeks. So far I have made avocado, banana, butternut squash, sweet potato, and apples. I think his favorite so far was the squash and he loves sweet potato and apples mixed together :)

It's almost Christmas...

Look who loves to sleep on his stomach now. We tried to stop it at first but it was useless---everytime we would roll him over, he would roll right back :)

Happy Half Birthday Cason!

I can't believe it has already been 6 months! Look how small Cason was when he was only 1 month old....

This onesie is size 12-18 months. I just don't think he is going to be able to fit into it by 12 months--we'll see. Here he is at 6 months....

We had our 6 month well visit yesterday and Cason did great. He got his vaccinations and a flu shot and he was such a little trooper! Here are his stats:

Weight: 19 pounds and 1 ounce (75%)

Height: 27 and 3/4 inches (90%)---he must take after his dad :)

Head circumference: 44 cm (55%)

I was laughing about him being so chubby and the doctor said he is actually nice and lean for his height.

The weather has been so nice the past couple of weeks, we decided to have our playdates outdoors :)

Autumn has ignored Cason since we brought him home from the hospital. Just recently she has decided that she will tolerate him being in the same room with her. The other day she jumped up on the couch with us and Cason wanted to grab hold of her hair SO badly. If he pulls her hair out, I'm quite certain she will go back to ignoring him :)

Cason has been laughing for quite a while but every once in a while he has a laugh attack and it is so hilarious. I finally caught one on video---he is laughing about nothing!
