September Fun

Cason still loves to stand. Here he is with dad attempting to stand with almost no help :)

Much to my dismay, we dressed him in his Longhorn warm up suit :)

Now we just need to get him an Aggie one as well.

Sitting on his own and trying to reach his paci. I am close by ready for the tumble :)

He got his pacifier and now he's on to his toes. He LOVES his toes!

On a side note....I got hooked on the Twilight books over the past couple of weeks. I've just finished them all and I LOVED them!!! I can't wait to see the next movie!!!

Tuesday Play Date

We had a great play date today with our friends Kathryn, Madi, Erin, and Lucy! Cason was the only boy and I think he loved it!

4 Month Check-Up

We had our 4 month check up today and Cason did great. Here are his stats:

Weight: 15 pounds 8 ounces 70%

Height: 26 inches 90% (he definitely didn't get that from me--he grew almost 3 inches in the past 2 months)

Head Circumference: 42 cm 50%

Rice Cereal:

The doctor told us we could start him on rice cereal--so of course we had to try it tonight. Let me first say that I nursed him first so he had already eaten. He liked it so much that he would SCREAM every time I wasn't putting the spoon in his mouth. I know he wasn't starving because I had just fed him!!!

Sleeping

I just wanted to give an update on our nights. He is successfully sleeping in his crib all the time now and last night he even slept 11 hours straight! I don't know if that will happen again but it was so nice! Now if we could just get him to give up his swaddle blanket :)

Our friends came to visit!

Scott went on a "guys" trip to Florida over Labor Day weekend so Wendie and Cade came to visit. We had such a great time, I'm so glad we got to spend some quality time together. We took the boys shopping all day on Saturday and sat up and watched old drill team videos all night---such fun! Thanks for coming---we can't wait to have you up again!

We tried on part of Cason's monkey costume to see how it fit....

Wendie bought Cade's guitar costume and it took both of us to get it on him...LOL
