Corbin, you are 21 months old! What have you been up to this month?
*You are wearing 18 month and 24 month clothing (mostly 18 month).
*You wear a size 6 1/2 or 7 shoe
*You still wear size 4 diapers (since you were about 14 months old)
*You take one nap a day and sleep 7:00 - somewhere between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m.
*You are a great eater. You will try most anything. Some of your favorite foods are fruit, hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, oatmeal, applesauce, yogurt, turkey, cheese, and you LOVE sweets. You also have a new found love for dips. You think just about any food we give you needs to have something to dip it in.
*You LOVE playing outside--it is probably your favorite thing to do. You also love to read books, dance to music, play with Cason, and throw balls.
*You still want to carry your blue lovey around with you all the time. Anytime you are holding it; your first two fingers pop right into your mouth. We try to limit the blanket to the crib but it always goes on car trips with us :)
*You use sign language for: more, milk, please, thank you, all done, blanket, & eat.
*You got your tubes put in your ears about 7 weeks ago and we are really starting to see a difference in your speech. The fluid in your ears must have been causing your speech delay because now that the fluid is gone you are talking more and more everyday. You are starting to try to mimic our words now---even thought they usually don't sound just right; we are thrilled you are trying----this is very new for you! I think now that you can hear, your speech will really start taking off. We are still going for your speech evaluation on the 4th just to see what they have to say. Your words that you can say pretty good are dada, mama, no, uh-oh, bye-bye, night-night, ball, door, dip and more.
*You are a BIG daddy's boy! And separation anxiety is still in full effect.
*You are SOOOOO sweet and love to give hugs and kisses.
