18 Months--Happy Half Birthday

Corbin you are 18 months old---Happy Half Birthday!!! What have you been up to this month?

*You weigh 24 pounds, 3 ounces (51%)
*You are 33 inches tall (70%)
*Your head circumference is 19.3 inches (80%)
*You are wearing 18 month clothes and a size 4 diaper.
*You wear size 6 wide shoes.
*You are down to one nap 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time you still need two naps.
*You sleep 7:00-7:00 at night most of the time (you sleep later on the days that you had two naps on the previous day. You wake up earlier on the days where you only had one nap the previous day---go figure???)
*You are a great eater and will try most anything. You still only have about 10 ounces of milk/water a day but the doctor doesn't seem to be concerned so I guess it's fine :)
*You finally cut your 4th molar on February 7th. Now you are working on your 4 incisor teeth.
*You can say mama, dada, no, and uh-oh. The doctor said that we need to give you a little bit more time to catch up on your speech and that although you not speaking many words at this point isn't the norm, it also isn't something to be concerned about. He said that comprehension is more important and you have great comprehension. You point to things I call out in books. you follow commands, you know most of your body parts, and you just surprise us everyday with the amount of things you understand even though you can't express them verbally just yet. You are a smart little boy!
*You love to play outside, throw and kick balls, play with ride-on toys, stack blocks, play with cars and trucks, ride bikes, dance to music, climb on everything, play with Cason, and you LOVE to read books (usually the same ones over and over again).
*I can't believe you are already 18 months old---you are such happy, sweet little boy---we love you SO much Corbin!!!

Ear update:
After having back to back ear infections recently and going through 2 rounds of antibiotics this past month, I had to take Corbin back to the doctor on Thursday and he had another double ear infection so now we're on our 3rd set of antibiotics. We went today for his 18 month checkup the doctor said his ears were no longer infected but they were red and had a lot of fluid in them. SO, we go back to the doctor in one month to see if the fluid has gone away. If not, we have to go see our ENT about tubes. If we get any ear infections before the month is up, we go to see the ENT about tubes. If we go back in a month and the fluid is gone but he is not saying any new words, we go to the ENT to have his hearing checked. So basically we are probably going to see the ENT (good thing I like our ENT)
