I think I have said this before but Corbin does NOT like solids. He hated cereal at first and then we went through a couple of weeks where he was okay with it and now his dislikes it again. We started baby food after his 6 month checkup. We tried squash first and as you can see from the pictures, he is not a fan. He will clamp his mouth shut so you can't get any food in and if you do trick him into opening his mouth so you can put some food him---he will just spit it right back out. It can be so frustrating because I know he needs to eat this food and he just doesn't want it. We had to stick squash out for a few days before we could move on to make sure he wasn't allergic. We have moved on to apples and he is still not a fan. I don't think he hates them as much as squash but he doesn't love them. Tonight we are going to try sweet potatoes and see if he likes those. He makes more of an effort to eat if someone other than myself feeds him. Which doesn't help since I am the only one here to feed him 99.9% of the time. And he still hasn't taken a bottle---LOL. He is SO picky! It is so funny how different your children can be. Cason and Corbin are complete OPPOSITES. Cason LOVED food from the very first time we ever offered it to him. Hopefully Corbin will start liking solids soon and fatten up a little bit :)
Eating squash....
The doctor told us we could start giving him a sippy cup with water just for practice. He doesn't really get any water but he loves chewing on the cup and it's good practice on learning how to hold his own cup.
