My poor little boys have been under the weather for a few days. Last week it was Cason and then of course he decided to share with his brother. We took Corbin to the doctor on Saturday because he had started to get congested and it seemed like he might have a bit of labored breathing and a bad cough, so we wanted to get it immediately checked. The doctor said he thought it might be RSV but there was no medicine he could give him for that other than breathing treatments if it was. He wasn't running a fever and his ears and throat looked fine. Since we already have the breathing machine and albuterol at the house he said to just give him a breathing treatment every four hours as needed and that if he started running a fever to come back because it could have turned into an ear infection. He was still bad on Sunday and Monday. I called the nurse line twice on Monday just to ask questions. By Tuesday (Valentine's Day) he seemed to be feeling much worse---he was very fussy so I called and got us an appointment. We got to see our doctor this time and he also said he thought it was RSV and that poor Corbin now had a double ear infection as well. Poor baby was not feeling good at all. So now we are on breathing treatments and antibiotics and he is doing much better.
My poor babies and their lungs and ears!!! Please pray that little Corbin will get well soon.
Here are a couple of pictures of Cason on Tuesday. We got him a few Valentine goodies and wouldn't you know that his favorite was a little red mailbox from the dollar section at Target---go figure! He is still carrying it around all day!
