2 1/2 years old!

Cason turned 2 1/2 years on the 11th which is also 30 months---I can't decide which one sounds younger. I want him to not grow up so fast!

Cason what have you been up to lately?

*We haven't measured you but you have definitely had a growth spurt lately. You have outgrown pants that I just bought you recently---you are getting so tall!
*You weigh around 38-39 pounds.
*You are wearing mostly 3T clothing, some 4T clothes, and hardly any 2T clothing.
*You are in a size 6 diaper and it is almost too small for you. There is not a size 7 (I think there may be but they are really hard to find). I hope we can get you potty trained before you outgrow the size 6 diapers! You haven't gone to the bathroom in your potty since before Corbin was born until tonight! We had to bribe you with a sucker but you did manage to go because you really wanted that sucker! We are not forcing the issue though because frankly, the thought of having to use public restrooms with you is not something I am looking forward to!
*You wear a size 8.5 wide shoe.
*You take one nap a day and sleep 11-12 hours a night. You are still our early riser but that's okay because you are a great sleeper and so easy to put to bed.
*You are still a pretty picker eater but you do like a lot of healthy foods so we are okay with that.
*You love to sing songs now. Your favorites are the Alphabet, the Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, The Wheels on the Bus, and Row, Row, Row Your Boat.
*You know all of your letters by sight and you know the sounds they make.
*You can count to 15 on your own---sometimes you make it to 18 or 19 but mostly just 15.
*You know most of your colors and shapes and you love puzzles.
*You know how to spell you name. You will say, "C A S O N spells Cason" and then you will start clapping because you are so proud of yourself :)

---Sorry mommy, this is my fault (LOL, when I forget something, I'll tell him Sorry Cason, that's mommy's fault, I'll go get it----and now he says it to me all the time--so cute!)

*Your teacher at school says you are a BIG flirt with the girls. She said you always want to hold their hands and you try to kiss them.
*You love dancing to music!
*You are really starting to love movies. You still like Elmo but you prefer movies now. Some of your favorites are Rio, Madagascar, Open Season, Cars, and the Lion King.
*You loved trick-or-treating at Halloween this year. You were definitely not shy. You ran in (or tried to run in) most of the houses when the people opened their doors.
*You are SO sweet to your brother. You love hugging and kissing him. You tell him you love him all the time. You always check on him and tell him "it's okay Corbin" when he is crying.
*You are very affectionate, strong-willed, energetic, loving, smart, helpful, and more! We love you so much and we just can't believe you are growing up so fast!
