Cason--25 months

I'm not planning on doing monthly updates on Cason since he is 2 now. It will probably more like every 3 or 4 months. However, I had some time today so I thought I would just go ahead and do an update :)

Cason, you are 25 months old now. What have you been up do this month?

-You weigh around 34-35 pounds.
-You are wearing size 2T and size 3T clothing. It really depends on the brand. I wish all these clothing places would make their clothes to fit the same so I would always know what size to get you.
-You wear a size 5 diaper and a size 7.5 wide shoe.
-You take one nap a day and sleep 11-12 hours at night. You have always been an early riser just like your mama.
-You are still a picky eater but I can tell from all your cute fat rolls that clearly you are getting enough food.
-You are talking more everyday and really starting to put some small sentences together. You are also a little copycat so we have to watch everything we say.
-You can identify most of your alphabet letters and tell me the sound that they make.
-You can count to ten, when YOU want to. You will not do this on demand. You also have a tendency to skip number one and just start with number 2 :)
-You still love to call yourself "Ca". If you don't want to do something, you just say, "No Ca", as in no Cason is not going to do that---LOL.
-We are NOT potty training you until after little Corbin gets here but your doctor did think that it would be a good idea to get you a potty and just start discussing it with you. Of course we got you the Elmo potty and you love it. You even went number 1 in the potty the very first time you sat on it (May 17th)---your daddy and I were SHOCKED! You love to sit on it right before bath time every night and pretend like you are going to use it but you usually do not. You have only actually gone to the bathroom in it twice so far. We are definitely not pushing you to do this, so take all the time you need :)
-You have a good arm and have been able to throw balls well for a while now but you have recently started catching them as well. Your daddy loves to play catch with you! We have to really work with you on not throwing things that are not balls and not throwing things at other children and expecting them to catch.
-You LOVE to be outside and boy is it already hot!!! I try to take you out early in the mornings because it just gets too hot. Your daddy usually takes you out again when he gets home from work. You love the splash park and would be content going there every single day :)

Here you are at the splash park with your girlfriends :)

Your newest little girlfriend (or maybe I should say Corbin's future girlfriend) was born last week. Lucy's little sister Lily is ADORABLE!!! Congrats to the Harrison family on their new bundle of joy!!!
