Well, little Cason has been feeling much better. He is still having to do breathing treatments (a.k.a. speed) and he is still on antibiotics but other than that, life is back to normal. We still don't have the results back from our allergy testing but hopefully they will be back soon.
He is still and will remain pacifier free and I am so proud of him. It does take him quite a while longer to fall asleep for naps and bedtime but he doesn't cry at all so no biggie there. I think the breathing treatments/speed are not helping much with the situation.
Here are a couple of pictures of him having a breathing treatment with daddy. He does GREAT with the treatments as long as he gets to watch Elmo (Melmo) the entire time. I give him the breathing treatments during the day and I have to wear a mask so that the baby and I aren't getting a great big dose of speed like Cason.
Here are a couple of pictures of him with his new favorite breakfast. I don't know why we haven't given him a bowl of cereal before now---well I guess I do know why---I was afraid of a big bowl of milk being thrown across the kitchen or dumped in his lap. However, to my surprise he did wonderful with his cereal. I made him a bowl of Chocolate Cheerios and he went to town. The past two mornings he has eaten an entire bowl of cereal all by himself with very little mess at all. I can't believe what a big boy he is getting to be!
Our other little bundle of joy is doing great as well. We went to our sonogram on Thursday and everything was perfect. He is definitely all BOY. His heart rate was in the 150's and he was measuring to be about 8 ounces. The doctor looked at everything---he checked all his organs, his bone structure, his brain, his fingers and toes, and a lot of things I can't even pronounce. The doctor said everything looks great and we are thrilled. I'm feeling him much more often but I'm still just feeling flutters from him at this point. I am very excited to start feeling his precious little kicks. Now we can definitely start discussing names.
We would love and appreciate your prayers for a continued healthy pregnancy & baby.
