Cason and Corbin had a playdate yesterday with all boys :) My friends Lindsey and Kari came over with their boys Walker and Matthew. Corbin slept most of the time but Cason had fun playing with his friends.

Happy Halloween :)
For Halloween we decided to dress Cason up as a hunter and Corbin as a little deer---ha! I know that sounds horrible but they were really cute and it was definitely Scott's idea.
We went to Kat's mom's house to take pictures, eat pizza and go trick-or-treating. Madi was Pinkalicious, Lucy was a garden gnome, and Lily was a flower. They all looked so precious! We took some pictures at our house before we left and my camera was working fine. I had even charged the battery and cleared off the memory card. As soon as we meet up with everybody my camera won't take pictures. I needed to reformat the memory card but that would erase all the pics we had already taken. I was so sad! So I didn't delete the pictures on my card and my sweet friends Erin and Kathryn sent me pictures they took with their cameras. Thank you Erin and Kat!

Two Months Old
We had Corbin's two month appointment this morning and everything was great--he got an A+. When the doctor walked in, he joked asking me, "Are you feeding this boy enough". He is still a very big boy :) He got some shots today and had to drink some liquid which he definitely did not like. When they gave him the shots, he turned blood red and held his breath he was so upset (poor guy!).
Corbin, you are two months old! What have you been up to this last month?
*You weigh 13 pounds, 4 ounces (90%)
*You are 23.3 inches tall (75%)
*Your head is 15.5 inches around (50%)
*You are still wearing mostly 0-3 month clothing but you have started to wear some 3-6 month clothing as well.
*You are wearing a size 2 diaper.
*You smile all the time now and we just love your little gummy grin.
*You are okay with tummy time for about 10 minutes at a time.
*You enjoy your baths
*You like to be swaddled when you are sleeping.
*You like your pacifier but you don't use it very often.
*You still have blue eyes
*Nursing is going great. You eat every 3 hours during the day and you have one 8 hour stretch at night. I usually feed you at 10 and you will sleep until 6 or 6:15.
*You love to sleep in your bassinet, the car seat, or someone's arms. You do NOT love to sleep in your crib. We are working on this.
*You are such a happy baby. You are hardly ever upset---such a drastic change from your brother at this age.
*You are so sweet and you love to cuddle. We love you so much Corbin Luke!!!

Terrible Twos
We are definitely still experiencing the "terrible twos". In fact, I think we have been experiencing them since he turned one---only it keeps getting worse---ha! We have a very spirited, strong-willed, loud, sweet, precious boy. He has taken his screaming fits to a whole new level lately and all we can do is laugh sometimes (even though it is NOT at all funny). We are really trying to work on this and I have at least 10 parenting books about toddlers that I keep saying I am going to read---there is just never enough time to read a whole book. I read parts here and there and hope for the best.
He is so funny now that he talks so much. He loves to tell me "No", "Stop doing that", and "No Sir!"----I guess he hears those things so often he feels the need to repeat them to me when he is mad.
It seems like he is having tantrums all the time but in reality, he is being cute and sweet much more often than he is throwing tantrums. He loves to cuddle and give hugs and kisses. One of his favorite things right now is just to sit in your lap and have you read book after book to him. He says "I love you" all the time just to be sweet. He gets the most precious look on his face when he is singing a song to you. He gets very concerned about Corbin when he is crying. He will keep telling him "you okay Corbin, you okay". There are so many sweet things that he does on a daily basis.
I read this on another mom's blog today and it is so true....
"Wishing away the “terrible” part of being two also means wishing away the sweet parts of being two."
I definitely don't want to wish away this special time. In fact, I wish I could bottle it up forever. I love my precious two year old (tantrums and all).

Tubes Again
Cason had his ENT check-up on Monday and it didn't go as well as we would have liked. He still had fluid in his right ear and he also now has fluid in his left ear. He has had this fluid since February so obviously it is not going to go away on his own. The doctor is going to put another set of tubes in and take his adenoids out as well. The surgery will be at least 30 minutes instead of 10 like last time because of the adenoids. There is a VERY slight risk of complications with the adenoids so please pray that everything goes well for little Cason.
Park, Pumpkin Patch, Pizza, and Puppy Dog
We went to the park to play with Cason's girlfriends last week and he had a great time as usual. I do have to add that I think men without kids are the ones that create playground equipment. There are always so many ways for the kids to fall off and get hurt and I'm nervous the entire time. If a woman created them, I think they would be much safer!
We made pizzas the other night and I let Cason make his own. He loved it----only it was hard to get him to stop eating the pepperonis and put them on his pizza!
We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend with the Kempson & Harrison families. There was so much to do and the kids really enjoyed themselves. We took pictures with pumpkins right when we got there. Poor Corbin just wanted to sleep but I propped him up in his Bumbo anyway because I wanted him to be in the pictures. When I looked at the pictures after we got home---I felt horrible because Corbin looked so pitiful---he couldn't even keep his eyes open! After we took pictures, I put Corbin in the carrier and just wore him the rest of the time.

Cason's MDO had Noah's Ark day today. All the kids had to dress up as animals and they all looked so adorable! I originally ordered him an elephant costume because he is in love with elephants right now. I ordered it used off of ebay for dirt cheap because I didn't want to spend a lot money on the animal costume since that is not what he is going to be for Halloween. However, it didn't fit. The tag said 2-4 years but there is no way that is correct because it was way too small. So we had to settle for a puppy dog costume from Target that he looks just as cute in!

Corbin's 2 month check-up is tomorrow so I will post more about him after that. I can't believe my baby is already 2 months old!
