Gymboree
My little chunk :)
Here are a few recent pictures of Cason. He looks like a little chunk in some of the pictures---so cute! The weather has been nice a couple of times so I took him to the park to swing and he liked it.

Bed Head and Bath Time
The other morning he woke up with his first case of bed head. It is really hard to tell in the picture but a big chunk of his hair is sticking straight out---so cute!
We got him these new bath toys that float and light up and he loves them. We took a cute video of him laughing and playing with them but I guess it is inappropriate to post a video of your child exposed on the internet---ha! So family members you will just have to see it next time you visit :)
Sticking out his tongue at me...

9 Months Old!
Cason, what have you been up to this month?
*You started cruising along furniture.
*You love to listen to any and all music.
*You don't like to sit still, you are always on the go.
*You wear size 4 diapers and 9-12 month clothes.
*You are good at feeding yourself finger foods and using a sippy cup.
*You LOVE to eat and you never want the meal to end.
*You can get into a sitting position on your own now.
*You love to play Peek-a-boo
*Lately you have starting protesting diaper and clothing changes.
*You pull up on everything, especially your crib when you should be sleeping.
*On January 24th you started crawling on all fours.
*You just started taking your first steps. You still can't walk but you can take anywhere from 2-6 steps in a row before falling.
*You enjoy pushing your walker up and down the hall.
*You are becoming quite the climber.
*You still wear a bib all day long to catch your endless amounts of drool.
*You finally stopped taking your reflux medicine this month. Yea!!!

Poor Cason...
I am shocked that I found yet another jar of baby food that he didn't like tonight. It was spaghetti with cheese. The other one he didn't like was broccoli and cheese. The only common factor with the only two foods he doesn't like is CHEESE. Are you kidding me, this can't be true---cheese is my absolute favorite food---this must just be a coincidence.
On another note, he is really starting to grasp the concept of the word no (probably because I have to say it so much because he is in to everything)---he doesn't completely understand by any means but he knows that when I say it I usually redirect him to something else. Needless to say, he does not like it when I move him and he doesn't get his way--he is a very stubborn little cutie.
Lately he has become quite the climber and today he climbed on top of one of his toys and I told him no and I was about to move him but I had to capture his face on camera. Sometimes when I say no, he just does whatever he wants anyway with a great big grin on his face---especially if he is crawling, and at that point he gets even faster to try and beat me to whatever he wants. It is actually quite funny. Sometimes he pauses and looks back at me to see if I am following him and then continues on his way. And then other times he sticks out his bottom lip and looks soooooooooo pitiful if I tell him no. It makes me sooooo sad to see this face---it definitely makes it really hard to say no---this little sad face will probably allow him to get away with a lot more than he should as he gets older.

Look what I can do....
Cason is finally able to use his push walker on his own. Before now, he would walk so fast he would tumble. He finally learned how to slow down and walk with it on his own. I stayed close by just in case though. Enjoy :)
