I had a lot of sickly children this month. First, Chloe got her regular fever virus and was miserable for a couple of days...
Then, Corbin got sick. One afternoon, he fell and hit his head while I was in the other room changing Chloe's diaper. I didn't see him do it but I figured he was okay. However, he immediately started acting different. He kept complaining of a headache and he was acting so lethargic. Then, he started getting nauseous and I was having trouble keeping him awake so we called the pediatrician and they said he needed to go to the ER. As soon as I got him there, he started getting sick in the parking lot :( He had a cat scan and they said all was okay. He starting getting a fever while we were there so they said that he probably had a virus. By the next morning, it hurt for him to swallow so we headed back up to the pediatrician. They sent us home with antibiotics for strep throat. So basically we will be getting a very large ER bill for STREP THROAT. We had no idea he was sick, we thought he had a head injury---this will be a very expensive mistake--LOL.
Here he is feeling a little better....
Then, by Saturday, Cason had a sore throat and tested positive at the pediatrician's office for strep. We thought Chloe was doing great, but by Saturday afternoon, we were back at urgent care with her and she had strep as well. Our kitchen counter was covered with medicine....
The next week, we had to make repeat visit to the pediatrician for a little situation we had with chigger bites. I"m sure they are sick up seeing us!
College Day at school....
Dance day for Chloe---she has to take all of her little friends with her wherever she goes...
Middle and little enjoying a snack together...
Fall Play Dough Fun...
I took the boys to a movie date to see Storks (which is very cute by the way). Trolls doesn't come out until November but they begged for a picture with the Troll :)
Chloe, Kate, and Ellie having a little girl play date :)
Chloe is loving Minnie Mouse right now too. She just HAD to have Minnie ride around with us while we shopped at Target. Good thing she didn't see Scott remove it while I distracted her :)
