29 Weeks

I had a doctor appointment/sonogram today for little Miss Chloe. She is measuring a little over a week ahead of schedule and weighing in at 3 pounds 3 ounces. She is in the 75% and her heart rate was 139. They also mentioned again that she has a quite a bit of hair. The sono went great and they said everything looks like it should :)

I also took my 1 hour glucose test today which I failed with both boys. I'm praying for a miracle that I actually passed this time. I REALLY do not want to take the 3 hour test for the third time. I should find out my results by the end of the week.

I'm having plenty of braxton hicks contractions with little Miss Chloe but other than that I feel great and I am so very thankful for that!

I am still embarrassed to go out in public because I am constantly getting harassed by strangers. Most of them are insistent that I must be carrying twins. Here are some comments from just the last couple of days....

When I told the lady checking me out at Target that I was due in October, she immediately looked shocked and asked if I was having twins. After I assured her that I am only carrying one baby she then went on to tell me that her sister-in-law was like me----she blew up like a balloon! Those were her exact words. And then she went on to say that her sister-in-law had blood sugar issues and that maybe I needed to get my blood sugar checked. Thanks for the tip lady---I will not be checking out in your lane again.

Then today I had one lactation nurse tell me she was shocked I was due in October and then she asked me if I was sure it was a singleton pregnancy. YES, I'M SURE!  Thanks for asking.

Then, while I was checking out at Carters today the lady acted like she was in complete shock that I was due in October and then preceded to tell me that there is just no way I am going to make it until October and that my doctor was probably going to have to put me on bed rest. Thanks for making me feel better lady---UGGGG!

And while we are discussing comments from this week. Here is one of Cason's from today....

Me: Cason, if you don't have something nice to say then you don't need to say anything at all.
Cason: So you mean I can't talk anymore?

And, I'll leave you with Chloe's pics from today (she's still a girl by the way---I ask every time)

Still a girl...

Heart rate: 139...
