My version:
Alice Jo's Spaghetti Sauce (Paula Deen)
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 (6-ounce) cans tomato paste
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can stewed tomatoes
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
1 bag of frozen meatballs
Directions:
Brown the beef in a large, heavy bottomed pot,
then drain off the fat. Add the onion and garlic and saute until the onion is
tender, about 5 minutes. Add the tomato paste, tomato sauce, stewed tomatoes,
seasonings, frozen meatballs, and water. Simmer for 30 minutes. Let cool. The
sauce will keep for several days covered and refrigerated. Serve with
spaghetti or your favorite pasta.
