16 Weeks

I turned 16 weeks pregnant yesterday and the baby and I are doing great.

This pregnancy is very similar to my pregnancy with Cason:
*Not too tired
*No morning sickness. Just some nausea from time to time (mostly in the evenings).
*No strong food adversions (one thing might sound bad one day but fine the next)
*No consistent food cravings---they change often. However, I am in love with Olive Garden's salad again like I was when I was pregnant with Cason. That's really the only thing.

There are of course some differences as well...
*Trouble staying asleep at night. Sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night, I will stay awake for 2-3 hours at a time.
*Bad headaches
*Up several times a night to use the bathroom. With Cason, I didn't have a problem with this until the very end of the pregnancy.
*Showing MUCH sooner.

Just in this past week, I have started to feel VERY subtle movements from the baby. They are very weak and I only feel them maybe once a day. I am so exited to start feeling stronger, more consistent movements from this little guy.

I go to the doctor this Thursday for a routine check-up and I go next Thursday for a sonogram. The doctor will be able to confirm the gender next week at our sono. I am so happy about this because Scott doesn't even want to start discussing names until we are sure of the gender even though the sono picture looked pretty certain to me. I will keep you posted :)

Here is our 16 week picture :)

Here are a few of my precious little guy....

Poor little guy had to go to time out and Scott wanted pictures of him while he was distraught....

All better :)
