Snow, Boots, and Birds

Cason was napping when the snow arrived on Monday so I figured we would take him out after he woke up from his nap and our yard would be covered in snow---I was wrong. Clearly, we did not receive as much snow at our house as some people did....

This weekend, a little Red Cardinal decided that Cason's window was his new best friend. We have black out film on Cason's windows to keep it dark in there and from the outside all you can really see is your own reflection. Well this little bird thought he was seeing another cardinal (even though he was just seeing his own reflection) and kept pecking at Cason's window NONSTOP for 2 days. It was driving me nuts and keeping Cason awake. Scaring him away with a broom did not work. Scott finally had to put up paper on Cason's window to get the bird to go away.
