Sick and Sleepy

Poor Corbin was sick last week :(
It started on Tuesday afternoon as just a runny nose. His runny nose continued over the next couple of days and he ran a low fever on and off. He started to get a cough towards the end of the week and I even called the nurse line for our ped's office on Friday but all of his symptoms sounded like it could just be a cold. She told me if he had any fever at all on Saturday to come on in and just have him looked at. He didn't have a fever when he woke up on Saturday but around 9:00 he started to get a very low fever so I called and went in. Poor thing had a virus, a bad ear infection, and bronchiolitis. On top of that he is cutting all of his molars. They even had us do a breathing treatment in the office because he sounded so pitiful. So now we are on antibiotics and breathing treatments. He is doing MUCH better :)

Today when I went in to get him up from his nap, he was sleeping so soundly that he didn't wake up when I turned on his light, turned off his sound machine, took pictures of him, and even picked him up!!! I took advantage of the sweet cuddles!!!

Flashback

Nothing exciting going on around here today. It is yucky and rainy so there will be no outside fun :(

We did manage to get out and get haircuts before it started raining so at least we got one thing accomplished. I love seeing all of Cason's old clothes in Corbin's closet---it brings back lots of memories :)

I was organizing Corbin's closet today and as I was putting some of Cason's old clothes in his closet I came across a Santa costume that Aunt Angie gave us back in 2010. So of course I had to put Corbin in it and take some pictures even though it's January :) Enjoy the cuteness....

My Big Boy

Cason is getting to be such a big boy. He is loving the new bicycle he got from Santa. I was afraid it would be too big for him but he is riding it just fine :)



We have been working on some easy reading lately and he is doing a such a good job. He is probably doing most of it off of pure memorization but that's just fine :)
