Corbin you are 1 year old now! What have you been up to this month?
*You weigh close to 20 pounds (we go for your checkup in a couple of weeks).
*You wear 6-9 month clothing and some 12 month clothing items.
*You wear a size 3 diaper and a size 4.5 shoe (you do not have wide feet like your brother).
*You take 4 bottles of formula a day. However you still don't drink very much---you probably only drink around 15 ounces a day. We have been trying whole milk in a sippy cup with your meals for a couple of weeks but you usually don't drink very much.
*You are doing good with your baby food and your finger foods. You like your fruit and veggie baby foods mixed together. We buy those squeezable baby food pouches that are the fruit/veggie combos and you and your brother LOVE them. Some finger foods you like right now are Puffs, Gerber Crunchies, Cheerios, Yogurt Melts, waffles, pancakes, toast, some pasta, grilled cheese sandwiches, lunch meat, Baby Mum Mums, saltine crackers, tortillas, cheese, carrots, and just about any cut up fruit. You also love to try whatever we are eating for dinner. You are not a fan of potatoes in ANY form.
*You take two naps a day and sleep 7-7 at night.
*You are a speed crawler and get wherever you need to go that way. You can cruise along furniture and walk with a push toy but you are not taking any steps at all yet. You don't seem to be too interested in walking.
*Your only words are still bye-bye and dada for now. I'm hoping for mama sometime soon :)
*You wave, clap, give high fives, and you are just starting to point. We are working on sign language but you haven't really picked up on it just yet.
*You love to play peek-a-boo and you love to crawl away as fast as you can and have me chase you ;)
*You have started giving sweet kisses :)
*You have 6 teeth now. Four on top and two on bottom.
*You have started laughing more and more instead of just giggling. It is just the sweetest sound!
*You love playing with Cason, putting all of Cason's toys into your mouth, banging on any object you can get your hands on, and crawling away from me---ha!
*You still suck on your first two fingers and twirl your hair to soothe yourself.
*You are still Mr. Happy Pants the majority of the time. You are SO sweet and easy going and just a joy to be around. I can't believe how fast this year has flown by. We LOVE you so much Corbin!
You were very interested in taking your 12 month sticker off during our photo shoot :)
Here is a slideshow I made of Corbin's first year. Warning: this video is LONG---I cut it down to just pictures of the four of us and it is still long :)
It feels like just yesterday I was writing Cason's 1 year post. Time sure does fly when you are having fun! My heart is filled with love for my two precious boys. I am one VERY blessed mama!

Catching Up With Pictures
Sweet brothers hanging out :)
Cason looking all grown up before his mommy/son date to go see the new Ice Age movie :)
Mr. Happy Pants....
We visited the Frisco Library and checked out SEVERAL dinosaur books. Cason doesn't quite understand yet that we don't get to keep them---ha! That's okay though because I'm sure we will just check out more :)
Cason's new favorite pillow----His Pillow Pet T-Rex...
Sunday Funday...
Hanging out with his sweet friend Luke---Luke is such a cutie!!!
Sour Patch Grapes
I saw a recipe on Pinterest for Sour Patch Grapes and I knew I had to try it because I LOVE Sour Patch Kids! It was really easy and they turned out good. They are a little messy but not too bad. Cason loved them and so did Scott and I so I'm sure we will make them again soon.
Click here for the recipe link
You just need 3 simple ingredients...
Watermelon jello
Lemon jello
Green grapes---stems off
Mix the two unprepared jellos in a ziploc bag...
Wash the grapes so they are a little wet---the jello mix will stick to them nicely. The recipes says to pour a small amount of the jello mix on a plate and roll the grapes in it a little at a time but I found it was less messy to put some grapes on a plate and just sprinkle the jello mix on top---then roll the grapes onto another plate and repeat.
Let them sit in the fridge for at least an hour after making them---serve cold :)

Playing, Painting, and Preview
I got some cute pictures of sweet Corbin playing around the house. He has been under the weather this past week but he is starting to feel much better. This week he also started giving kisses and got another tooth. He now has 6 teeth and he is working on some more :)
Click here for more pictures :)
Cason and I had fun making some dinosaur art this past week and we hung it all on his new art wall :)
I can't believe Corbin will be one in two short weeks!!!! This year has flown by! His party is coming up so I have been trying to get a few things done for his party but it's hard to find a lot of extra time with two busy kiddos. Birthday preview:
