Catching Up

Lots of random pictures to catch you up on this last week :)

Poor Corbin does not have much hair except for in the very back of his head. He looks like an old man---ha!

The other day while Corbin was napping, Cason and I made a Halloween cake. I think he loved licking off the batter the most!

Such a cute little helper!

All done!

Uncle Blake came by this weekend to visit his nephews :)

Cason on the first chilly day of the season. We had to go buy him some long sleeve shirts and pants. None of his clothes from last year will fit anymore :(

I finally got around to making the boys their Halloween shirts. You can't see very well in the picture but the C's have lines all through them (just like a mummy). The front...

Cason's teacher at school said he continues to be a flirt and she said he tries to kiss all the girls! It's probably because him and Madi love to kiss each other :) She said we are going to be in trouble when he gets older---ha!

Corbin is working hard to try to sleep through the night. We aren't there yet but we are getting close. He generally will go one 6-7 hour stretch (from the beginning of a feeding). So if I start feeding him at 10:30, he will usually not need to eat again until around 4:30 or so. On Monday night he went 8 hours---yea! But on Tuesday it was back to between 6-7 hours. Hopefully he will start sleeping 8-9 hours soon. Cason could do it by 10 weeks so I'm hoping Corbin will too :)

Look Alikes??? and Flashbacks

I took some pictures of the boys this morning in Halloween attire. I put Corbin in Cason's old Halloween hat and socks and took some pics like I did with Cason 2 years ago. I wanted to see how much they looked alike. Cason was 3 1/2 months older at the time so the hat is too big for Corbin but the pictures are still cute. I think it is going to be impossible to get pictures of the both of them smiling at the camera for me at the same time---ha!

I also took pictures of Corbin stretching. I always loved the pictures we took of Cason stretching. I put all the pictures on facebook because they would have taken forever to download on here. You can follow the link to see all the pics. I am just posting a few on here.

Do you think the boys look alike??????

Growth Charts

I put the boys' growth charts on the right side of my blog and I was quite surprised with some of the numbers. Cason has been on the large side for so long now I was just thinking he started out that way but you can see from his numbers that Corbin is actually quite larger on the % charts than Cason was at this point. I will be interesting to see if it continues this way or if it will change :)

Here are some cute pictures I took of Cason on Thursday and one of sweet Corbin smiling :)

At first, he was NOT interested in having his picture made...

Then, he decided he was okay with it...

My boys and my phone

The boys are doing great and Cason's cough is getting much better---thank goodness. My mom and grandmother came for a visit this past weekend and the boys really enjoyed getting to see them. Cason was especially wild, which was not a surprise since he loves to put on a good show for an audience.

He continues to talk more and more and says the funniest things. One of his favorite things to tell me lately when he doesn't like something is, "Stop doing that mommy". I hear it several times a day----I guess he hears me say that to him all the time---LOL.

I asked Cason's teacher about his pushing problems and she said he is still doing it but they are working on it. She said it is mostly over not wanting to share. He never wants to share and then he gets mad when other people don't share with him--go figure. She did want to inform me though of what a little flirt he is. She said he loves little girls and wants to hold their hands all the time. She said I am going to be in trouble when he gets older----ha!

We met up with Lucy, Lily, Madi, and their mommies at the pumpkin patch today for some play time. They had 2 big bounce houses and a hay maze. The kids had a blast running around. I took my camera and took lots of great pictures----HOWEVER, the memory card wasn't in the camera---such an idiot! Erin took her camera too so hopefully she got some cute pictures of the kids that I can post later.

Here are some pics of my precious boys :)

My phone:
While I was grocery shopping (with both kids) on Monday my phone (which is only 2 months old) was stolen. Technically it was lost and then stolen but stolen none the less. Corbin was in his car seat in the front of the cart and Cason was sitting in the large portion of the cart stomping on all the groceries---LOL. I had my phone with my purse and keys in the seat of the cart away from Cason. I kept checking to make sure it was there and it always was. While I was checking out, I checked for my phone again and it was gone. Most likely, Cason pushed it out on accident when I wasn't looking. It couldn't have been missing for more than 5 minutes when I realized it was gone. We went back and retraced our steps but it was too late---someone had taken it. I checked with Customer Service and Scott stopped by there and checked again on Monday night but no luck. We called and texted the phone but no on answered. I went back again on Tuesday morning and checked with Customer Service again but no luck again. Someone found and took it for themselves---it makes me so mad that someone would be so dishonest!!! Since Scott and I both just replaced our phones over the past 2 months, neither one of us was due for an upgrade. Replacing the phone with no upgrade would cost $650---are you kidding me???!!! Luckily, Scott's work helped us out and I now have a phone again. I got a used one and I am so thankful it all worked out!!!
