July 4th Weekend

We went to Tyler this weekend to celebrate Hudson's 1st birthday. We had a great time with some good friends :)

We can never get everyone to look at the camera at the same time...
Yummy cake!

Here are a couple of pics of me trying to get Cason to wear his sunglasses. He takes them off as fast as I get them on---ha!

Cool dude...

Mom, what did you put on my face...

I don't want to wear these...

Here you go, you can have them back...

The Turners Came to Visit!

Wendie and Cade came to Dallas for a visit and we had so much fun this week! We kept the boys busy everyday and they loved it! I love when I get to hang out with Wendie and Cade. She is such an awesome friend and Cade is soooooooooo precious---I could go on and on about these two!

It was so funny, everywhere we went at least one person would ask us if the boys were twins. One lady even asked us if they were at least related because they looked so similar :)

Day 1:
We played at the house and then took the boys to Willowbend Mall to play in the kiddie area and for a little shopping. They both got new shoes and we got nothing---so typical!

Day 2:
We took the boys to the Children's Museum and they had such a GREAT time. There were two different  play rooms, a fire truck with a slide, a farm room where they even got milk a cow (really it was just water), a sand table, and their favorite--the water room. It was a bit of a drive--but very worth it!
Day 3:
We took the kiddos to My Gym and they had a great time. As always, it is really hard to get a picture of them together because they won't stay still!
Day 4:
We took the boys to a water park and boy was that an adventure! It is really hard to keep up with 2 toddlers who do not want to stay in the kiddie pool. They wanted to be in the big areas and there were so many other big kids---we were all exhausted by the end of it :) We took a water camera, so I will have to get those pictures posted later---although, I don't know if there will be any good ones.

These were just a few pics from our adventure. To see MANY more photos, click on the link below...

Tubes

We went to get Cason's tubes in on Friday morning. We had to be there at 7:00 and his surgery started at 8:00. Everyone there was really nice and made us feel very comfortable. They usually give all the kiddos a small sedative about 5 minutes before they take them back for surgery to make sure that they don't get too upset when they are taken from their parents. However, they did not have to give Cason one because he was all too happy to leave with a stranger. He could have cared less! I was the only one with tears---they should have given his sedative to me. I was very anxious about them putting him to sleep but the surgery only took 10 minutes---it was super fast! The doctor said everything went great---he said they drained a LOT of fluid from his ears and that he should feel much better now. We go back in 4-6 weeks for a check up and another hearing test. I'm so glad everything went well. Cason has felt great all weekend! Here are some pics from my phone at the surgery center.

Pool Party at the Ray House

Cason's girlfriends came over for a little swim on Tuesday and of course we took lots of pictures of the kiddos. It is almost impossible to get all three of them to look at the camera at the same time but we tried. Here is the link to the photos---there are too many to upload. Enjoy
