Zoo

Somehow I forgot to post that we visited the Dallas Zoo last week and Lindsey and baby Walker joined us for the fun. The animals were not real active and therefore weren't all that great at catching the kids' attention but we still had a great time!

My Gym

We visited another kid gym today and the babies all had fun. Of course, Cason had to be the only one to throw a tantrum.  He got really mad when I took a hula hoop away from him. He is in a stage right now where he throws a BIG fit if you take something away that he wants. I think the fact that he is teething is part of his fit throwing but in no way can I blame it all on teething.

He is still walking up a storm and even getting better at making turns without falling. He loves to walk with toys or books in his hands and of course that makes me very nervous. We have definitely stepped up our baby proofing in the last couple of weeks.

He is eating more and more table food and wanting milk less and less. I wish he had more than two teeth so that he would be able to eat even more. A few table foods that he likes to eat right now are turkey and cheese wraps, spinach and cheese quesadillas, deli meat, LOVES peas, carrots, waffles, pancakes, toast, cheese, yogurt, bananas, mandarin oranges, crackers, sweet potatoes, and squash.

11 Months Old!!!

Wow, I can't believe my baby is almost 1---he is growing up too fast!!! I am definitely dreading next month---within a span of 8 days Cason will be 1 and I will turn 30!

Cason, you are 11 months old---what have you been up to this past month?

*You started walking a couple of weeks ago and you are getting better at it each day.
*You mostly wear 12 month clothes but you can also wear 18 month clothes just fine.  
*You still wear size 4 diapers.  
*You drink 4 bottles a day and eat 3 solid meals. Bottles still aren't your favorite thing but you are getting so much better about taking them.  
*You take two naps a day and sleep 7:30 - 7:00 at night.  
*You love to wave at everyone  
*You are babbling more and more. You can say mama (though I'm not sure you know it's me) and bye bye. When you say bye bye--you wave your little arm--so cute!  
*You love to show us "arms up" and "arms down".  
*Your FAVORITE thing right now is anything that you can open and close---cabinets, doors, books, toys, etc.
*You also are in love with toes right now. Here is a video of you trying to play with mine---LOL

Here are some pictures from the past week of my little cutie! There are several of him practicing his walking skills. He likes to walk with his arms out---it is so adorable!

Here is another video of him walking. He is still very wobbly but he is getting better everyday. Each day he grows more confident of his new skill and walks more and more. I'm sure before I know it, he will be running!!!
