37 1/2 Weeks

We had our 37 week appointment yesterday and everything was the same as last week. There were no new developments. She set the date to induce me for May 11th if he doesn't make an appearance by then. She said she estimates his weight to be around 7 1/2 pounds as of right now. I think that is plenty big and I hope he decides to come sometime in the next week--I plan to do lots of walking!!!

The sad thing is I thought I was huge at 15 weeks---just look at me now!!!

36 Weeks Appt. #2

We couldn't get our sonogram and our doctor appointments on the same day this week so we made two trips over to Medical City. Our doctor said everything looked great. We are now around 2 1/2 to 3 centimeters dilated and 80% effaced.

36 Weeks

We had our last sonogram today and baby Cason looked great. He is head down and ready to go. We even watched him use his lungs which is a good sign---she said if he was born today, he would be fine. She did say that he is already 7 pounds--he is going to be one big baby!

35 Week Update

We had our weekly doctor appointment yesterday and everything is going great. I am dilated to almost 2 centimeters and 75% effaced. Everything is progressing nicely :)

Baby Cade has arrived!

Baby Cade arrived on Monday morning. He was 8 pounds, 11 ounces and cute as a button! I was able to go see Wendie and Cade yesterday in Tyler and they were both doing terrific! He is absolutely adorable and the three of them make such a cute family! Love you Wendie!

School Shower

My sweet team at school threw me a shower this past Monday and I had a terrific time! They prepared tons of yummy snacks and collected money for a very generous gift card to Babies R' Us. I am so lucky because I work with such great people! Thanks everyone!

Candice, a 5th grade teacher, brought this street sign to me. Apparently her husband had this sign sitting in his garage from 11 years ago. They were just about to throw it out when she remembered that I was naming our little one Cason. Thanks Candice--we love it!
